To be completely honest I don't listen to rap often because it is not very good music. Rap itself is just actual music stripped down to one hook, a drum beat and people talking. Usually it is degrading and it promotes booze. Putting women down is not fun to listen to or sing about. Blaming it on the alcohol and buying her a drink are awful things to tell kids, even if it is only on the radio and they don't have to listen. Thankfully Kid Cudi changes this with his catchy songs about his feelings and emotions like "Pursuit of Happiness" and "Day 'n' Nite." These songs do not portray women in a bad light, but talk about himself and how he feels.
