Amidst rumors of being a hermaphrodite, "Lady" Gaga has torn through the music industry. But why? A pounding bass, and a catchy chorus are the only thing driving Gaga's overplayed songs. Without those her/his songs are a mesh of bad lyrics and strange clothing. People like her/him only because it is popular to be weird. People know her music because every other song on the radio is hers/his. I pray that "Lady" Gaga's did not write her/his own lyrics. In the smash hit "Poker Face" one line reads, "Cause I'm bluffin' with my muffin, I'm not lying I'm just stunnin' with my love-glue-gunning." Unless these lyrics were written by a four year old, "Lady" Gaga needs to fire her lyricist. A shovel could have written better lyrics. Now, onto her clothes, "Lady" Gaga seems to feel the urge to dress as outlandish as humanly possible. Clearly it has garnered the attention of the music industry. People wait around just to see what she will look like. This is ludicrous. Her/his outrageous attire takes away from the music, but I guess that is what she/he was looking for because who really wants to hear about her bluffin' muffin.
You cannot deny Lady Gaga as a musically gifted singer. There is a reason her songs are popular and its not because of her clothing. Can you see her clothing while listening to the radio? I think not!
ReplyDeleteBut what do people talk about when they mention Lady Gaga? Her gifted singing? I think not. They talk about her/his crazy style, the weird live shows, and the fact that she has man parts.
ReplyDeleteJimmy I could not agree more. No one even knew about her outrageous life style until after she came out with Just Dance. I mean come on, any one whose had 6 number one singles on the pop chart has to have some sort of talent doesn't she? I think so. This blog depresses me. The fact that Lady Gaga has made millions of dollars off of songs like "Poker Face", and La-La-Oh-La-La-La -or whatever it's called- is a joke to society. Not only does she look like a stripper/hooker/transvestite, her music is the closest thing to death, other than death itself. Lady Gaga is, without a doubt, the worst musician of the past twenty years.
ReplyDeleteI firmly believe that Lady Gaga is the worst excuse for a musical artist ever. Last night as I was watching American Idol with my family, I watched the previously recorded show of Lady Gaga. It was a disgrace. Supposedly it took over an hour to set up the stage, and they didnt even use one of the props. She had 12 men dancing flamboyantly around the stage groping themselves. This type of show belongs as an act in some sort of crude sexual circus not mainstream media.
